Daikin Applied is hiring a Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team in Plymouth, MN. Reporting to the Finance SVP, The Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. The person in this role will provide critical insights to senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision making to drive continued growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Drive and coordinate the enterprise integrated planning and forecasting process.Lead the development of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and rolling forecasts.Partner with executive leadership to align financial goals with business strategyCreate and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and investment decisions.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Deliver reporting and insights that describe performance to plan and forecast and identify performance opportunities and risks.Prepare and present financial reports to executive team and senior leadersManage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the team meets its objectives.Collaborate with department heads to understand financial needs and support strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management.         12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles within FP&A8+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.Advanced knowledge of financial principals, accounting standards, forecasting, and modeling.Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making at the executive levelProven success of driving FP&A process improvements including automation and advanced analyticsExperience with large enterprise ERP system including Oracle, SAP, or similarProven success managing cross-functional teams at all organizational levelsWork Sponsorship is not available for this role 

Preferred Experience:

MBA and CPAGlobal experience within manufacturing (or related)

The typical salary for this position ranges from $142,600 to $243,600 in MN plus a 30% annual variable bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
