PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Sr. Director, Enterprise Compensation, will lead the strategy, design, and maintenance of nationwide Clinician & Staff Compensation that maximizes quality patient care, productivity, recruitment, and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops strategy and manages the implementation, administration and evaluation of clinician and staff compensation & incentive strategies, plans, and programs that align with organizational and regional platform objectives, including but not limited to productivity, quality, VBC, and leadership, ensuring that they are competitive, equitable and aligned with the organizations goals. Models and maintains various types of base pay programs and pay structures, ensuring national level consideration and scalability. Directs data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Sponsors and leads large-scale projects related to compensation, including, but not limited to, merit planning, annual incentive planning, and change management. Implements programs and plans across the Enterprise to maximize clinician and staff satisfaction, business results, and quality of care to patients. Collaborates with key stakeholders such as Clinician and Operations Leadership, Legal, Finance, Analytics, and Scheduling areas to evaluate, implement Helps to maintain systems to accurately administer compensation programs, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and monitor/report performance. Works with Finance and Analytics to model, budget, and forecast the cost and financial impact of compensation programs for approval and adoption. Acts as the Enterprise subject matter expert, ensuring all compensation practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Consults with leaders across the Enterprise and represents Human Resources in projects and programs related to compensation, , performance measurement, productivity monitoring Develops and maintains compensation policies, plan documents and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing and administering enterprise compensation and incentive programs. Directly supervises clinician and staff compensation team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or health care administration required. Masters preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7 years of compensation program management, with at least 3 years directly responsible for supporting clinician compensation and incentive programs. 2-3 years of supervisory and project management experience and proven experience presenting, negotiating, and supporting senior leadership. Proven experience with compensation and incentive program design, data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design. Experience managing large-scale projects across matrixed functions. Experience designing and implementing the systems and governance needed to support clinician and staff services programs. Demonstrated success in developing communications and change initiatives. Preferred experience in supporting pediatric primary care and pediatric specialty services.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Preferred Certified Compensation and/or Benefits Professional (CCP/CBP).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of systems, regulations, and communication strategies related to clinician and staff compensation. Excellent consulting, influencing, and communication skills. Ability to work with stakeholders across regional platforms, business, and functional units. Ability to present effectively to clinicians and organizational leadership at all levels. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of systems and data related to payroll, scheduling, EMR, and other data sources related to clinician compensation. Preferred experience with Tableau or other data/report writing systems. Preferred knowledge of change management strategies.
