ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join our leadership team as the Senior Director, Credit & Collections and help drive strategic financial operations. This role shapes our worldwide credit strategy as well as optimizes cash flow across diverse markets. You'll be instrumental in supporting our growth trajectory while safeguarding financial assets through sophisticated risk management and innovative collection strategies. As a key member of our Finance leadership team, you'll influence critical business decisions and have direct impact on our bottom line across our extensive global footprint.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Develop, implement, and maintain company credit and collections policies.Assess and approve customer credit limits, terms, and risk levels.Oversee collections activities to ensure timely payments and reduction of delinquent accounts.Monitor portfolio performance, DSO, and cash flow metrics; prepare and present reports to senior leadership.Resolve escalated customer issues related to billing, disputes, and payment terms.Partner with sales and finance teams to balance risk with business opportunities.Lead, mentor, and develop a dynamic credit and collections team.Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or professional certification preferred such as CCE).10+ years of progressive credit and collections experience, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role. Wholesale / Retail customer experience a plus.Strong knowledge of credit risk management, accounts receivable, and collections practices.Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Experience with ERP systems and credit/collections software.Results-oriented with a track record of improving DSO, cash flow, and portfolio performance.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.Industry Knowledge.Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change.The pay range for this position is $175,000-$225,000/yr USD.
