The Senior Director of Research & Foresights serves as the firm's enterprise insights orchestrator, defining and leading the strategic intelligence agenda across primary research, secondary analytics, and modern VoC/VoB ecosystems. This role establishes a forward‑looking, integrated view of client and Financial Advisor (FA) behaviors, needs, and market dynamics, transforming complex signals into influential guidance for executive‑level decisions.
As a senior strategic advisor and leader of leaders, the Senior Director ensures insights directly drive growth strategies, innovation roadmaps, differentiated client experiences, and operational prioritization across the business. Operating as a cross‑functional catalyst, this leader embeds an insight‑driven culture throughout the organization to elevate performance, anticipate emerging opportunities, and strengthen the firm's competitive advantage.
**What you'll do:**
+ Develop and execute enterprise research and customer intelligence that delivers actionable insights supporting firm priorities, business outcomes, and a deep understanding of client, prospect, and FA behaviors and expectations.
+ Lead best in class research programs across clients, prospects, and FAs-spanning primary, secondary, behavioral, and journey research-to inform strategic decision making and optimize Marketing and Experience execution.
+ Serve as a trusted thought partner to Enterprise Brand Marketing (EBM) and firm leaders, proactively anticipating insight needs and delivering clear, compelling recommendations that guide executive level decisions.
+ Monitor, analyze, and synthesize client and FA feedback, Experience metrics, and journey signals to identify improvement opportunities and influence strategic prioritization.
+ Partner cross-functionally across EBM and the enterprise to ensure insights are embedded into Marketing campaigns, Experience design, product strategy, and business planning.
+ Integrate advanced quantitative, qualitative, and behavioral methodologies in partnership with data and analytics teams to produce comprehensive, high impact insights.
+ Build and operationalize modern data sourcing capabilities, including SEO/AEO signals, search behavior analytics, social listening, and OSINT (open-source intelligence) to detect emerging trends and sentiment shifts early.
+ Create, maintain, and evolve a centralized insights repository that enables efficient access, reuse, and democratization of insights across teams and leadership groups.
+ Develop and mentor highly performing research and insights teams, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and methodological excellence.
+ Advance team capabilities through adoption of modern Knowledge Management platform, research tools, technologies, and frameworks, ensuring the function continues to deliver cutting edge intelligence that elevates enterprise performance.

**Hiring Maximum:** $352900

**What you'll need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree in Economics, MBA or social science strongly preferred.
+ 15+ years of experience in client research, market research, client insights, client segmentation or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
+ Research Methodologies: Best in industry expertise in designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies, reading results, and generating insights that are immediately impactful for business growth.
+ Data Analytics: Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical modeling and machine learning.
+ Client Segmentation: Deep understanding of segmentation methodologies and persona development.
+ Market Trends: Awareness of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and client behavior patterns. Sourcing data from various paid and OSINT (open-source data intelligence).
+ Data Governance: Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices for managing client data.
