Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **We are searching for the best talent for a Sr. Digital Solutions Manufacturing Engineer to be in Grecia, Costa Rica.** **Purpose:** Independently, or under limited or null supervision, works on complex by nature assignments, which require considerable criteria, judgment and initiative to solve problems and issue recommendations in attainment with a defined timeline. Provide guidance, training and direction to employees with less experience. Performs nonstandard tasks or uncommon, related to configuration, validation, maintenance, change management and generates and executes tests in areas of Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering. They are responsible for ensuring that all activities assigned to them in designated transfer projects are performed, keeping the expected levels of the Department in the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) making observations and communicating them to their supervisor for their correction. Responsible to translate business needs into strategies and executable action plans to deploy innovative Digital & Analytics Solutions across Biosense Webster to support Digital Transformation. It is expected to work with internal and external stakeholders to define user requirements and support all project phases to assure value-added solutions for the achievement of business objectives. This role will also provide a clear structure for effective change management to drive adoption and value capture from digital initiatives. This position supports the Electrophysiology platform within J&J MedTech in manufacturing of electrophysiology cardiovascular products. **You will be responsible for:** In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: + Supports in the definition and implementation of Digital & Analytics strategy and standards for the overall production systems approach, including roadmap definition. + Supports definition of objective, scope, methods, benefits and captures stakeholders’ requirements from an identified problem. + Supports in the evaluation of business cases for portfolio prioritization. + Actively participates in yearly business plan definition. + Translate business needs into Digital & Analytics Solutions, by implementing the requirements management process to meet customer, stakeholders & IT systems demand. + Networking and benchmarking within and outside company for emergent technologies and solutions. + Definition and implementation of best project management methodologies and practices according to project type and needs. + Cost estimating, timing, cost-benefit, and technical fitment evaluations. + Manage each project’s scope, cost, resources, and timeline. + Management of multiple complex projects at the same time + Develops risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems. + Coordinates sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups. + Lead each project’s meetings and document agreements. + Effective and transparent communication towards different levels of the organization on status, results and make risks clear where appropriate. + Create and manage change management plan to engage stakeholders through the entire project lifecycle. + Ensure deliverables and documentation are up to quality standards (e.g., SDLC, local compliance procedures, etc.). + Efficiently manage problems and remove team obstacles and propose solutions. + Work closely with our Johnson & Johnson Technology partners to provide the best solution for the business need and ensure effective and timely closure of their deliverables. + Promote an agile environment to achieve project objectives. + Coach and guide team members in Agile frameworks. + Analyzes and solves problems of new applications or improvements in the applications to ensure that the solution delivered is of quality, on time and complying with customer requirements. + Effectively understands and documents the requirements of the business and transmits them in a precise and understandable way for the technical team. + Troubleshoots and facilities troubleshooting using existing platforms; proactively prevents problems from happening again. + Mapping of different manufacturing process to identify requirements. + Identifies opportunities to automate and/or improve existing processes and makes recommendations for action plans to improve the performance of business processes. + Documentation of engineering updates and changes. + Performs validations, engineering studies, pilot runs. + Manage goals/milestones by identifying critical project issues such as contingencies and resource need. + Work as a team in the administration and management of suppliers developing required documentation. + Optimize the use of existing technology by identifying new ways to add value to the business. + Identifies and communicates, in a timely manner, any issues or concerns to the next management level. + Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.​ + Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. + Provides solutions to the problems in manufacturing of current and new models. + Performs operational diagnostics test. Solves problems and disconnects components, subassemblies and manufacturing systems, processes and equipment with the purpose of isolating failures, determining the solution and performing the necessary training. + Can provide recommendations and technical support for new projects, process improvements and quality investigations. + Performs inspections to their own work and others. + Follows standardized procedures while performing their tasks, when applicable. + Follows the Convenient Information Retention Administration Policies of J&J and of the Campus, record retention program, training and education, Document Retention Notices, Record cleanup, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records if applicable. + Has completed the environment and safety training, appropriate for his/her discipline. + Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level. + Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. + For those who supervise or manage staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable. + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. + Performs other duties assigned as needed. + Other responsibilities can be assigned and not all the responsibilities listed here must be assigned. **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Bachelor's in Engineering, related fields. + Extensive computational package knowledge. + IT experience, highly desirable. + Financial acumen, highly desirable. + Project management experience, highly desirable. + Experience in the medical devices industry, 2-4 years of experience preferred + Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures. + PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred with working knowledge of project management processes & tools. + Knowledge of Agile frameworks. + Scrum Master or product owner certification is a plus. + Generally, Requires 6-8 Years Work Experience + Advanced English + Effective communication in English and Spanish across functions and both internally/externally. **Skills:** + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, e.g., Excel and Power Point. + Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and lead team meetings. + Excellent project management skills combined with knowledge of Software Delivery and Testing methodologies and processes. + Experience working within virtual teams in complex organizations. + Ability to negotiate effectively. + Openness to listen and balance ideas from the work team. + Self-direction and proactivity, effective management of personal time. + Talent management and development preferred. + Ability to demonstrate leadership skills when collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. + Ability to manage projects and supervise support staff, as assigned. + Demonstrated hands-on large project management/delivery experience. + Proven experience at managing a high volume of projects at a single time. + Proven experience in managing subcontractors. + Prior experience in risk management. + Strong ability to inspire change via strong engagement and communication. + Excellent communication and visualization skills to process insights into a business story. + Experience in UX/UI design. + Knowledge and prior implementation of emergent technologies and their integration, such as Big Data, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Cloud Computing, IoT, Business Intelligence, Virtual Reality, etc. + Leadership experience. + Expert in describing the flow of processes to assist in redesign, re-engineering, etc. + Knowledge of technology management lifecycle. + Active administration of third parties (suppliers, contractors, agencies, etc.) + Ability for the resolution of failures, in aspects or areas of equipment, and manufacturing processes. + Ability to integrate into work groups. + Knowledge of the product manufactured by the Company. + Ability to use measuring and testing equipment associated with specific discipline. + Advance ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with specific discipline. + Capacity to successfully complete the departmental/corporate courses of training in manufacturing techniques. + Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP). + Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan. + Able to work in a Clean Room environment requiring gowning. + Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to support cross functional teams including Quality, Operations & Engineering.
