We are currently seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Overview -
As a DevOps engineer will be responsible for supporting the DevOps capability and managing/collaborate with members of DevOps engineering team. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with program leads, technology architects, and leads across global locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Estimate for Cloud Platform automation and DevOps activities and build proposals
2. Plan and perform Infrastructure automation, Build, Deploy, and Release automation on various Cloud platforms
3. Design and configure Dev-Sec-Ops pipeline for various projects, working with the Client and Project teams
4. Define, articulate, and evangelize Cloud Platform Automation activities
5. Deploy Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) using Terraform within the Azure environment
6. Serve as a thought leader and SME for DevOps industry trends, new and existing technology offerings, and architectural concepts
7. Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions while discussion with business and technology teams
8. Completely understand system interdependencies and limitations, same needs to explained to business and technology teams during management reviews
9. Should be willing to quickly upskill on new technologies, tools, and paradigms.
10. Design and adopt Agile management approach, also implementation where required
11.Particpate in design of an infrastructure and configuration management strategy.
12.Implement DevOps strategy, release management workflow, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure Kubernetes Service infrastructure
13.Participate in discussion related to infrastructure compliance and security, dependency management strategy, security and compliance
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/ Information Science/Telecommunications)
2. 8+ years IT experience
3. Certified in Azure DevOps [Advantage : AZ-303 AZ-304 AZ-400 AZ-500 (or equivalent), Terraform Associate Certification (or equivalent)]
4. Good knowledge about open source technology stack and programing skills
5. Strong understanding of different Cloud (Azure) IaaS services and platforms and their associated limitations, with a special focus on Network and Application security considerations
6. Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment, and monitor operations
7. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Puppet, Bash, and Infrastructure as code automation using Terraform.
8. Strong experience with creating and modifying JSON configuration files, Terraform.
9. Strong implementation experience using Continuous Planning, Integration, and Deployment tools like -
9.a. Azure DevOps Toolchain,
9.b. Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube
9.c. Containerization technologies like Kubernetes/Docker
10. Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues/requirements.
