Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the demand and supply of affiliate to ensure products availability to the market
Drive efficient Demand meeting process and maintain high forecast accuracy, as well as implementing Operational excellence
Demand Planning
Create, monitor and maintain a feasible 28 month end-to-end volume (replenishment/ production)Lead the periodic Demand Meeting and ensure forecast integrityDrive high forecast Accuracy with RCA(Root Cause Analysis) and CAP (Corrective Action Plan)Offer innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges in the brand planning function.Optimal Supply Planning and Capacity Planning
Guard the time fence and ensure assurance of supply to prevent stock out and deliver product to patients at right timeEnsure the balance among Demand, Supply, and CapacityDevelop replenishment and inventory plans to support monthly sales and operations planning processMonitor key performance indicators, perform root cause analysis, implement action plans, and strive for continuous improvementEnsure delivery needs are met in compliance with quality guidelines and medical good distribution practicesIdentify product supply issues, seek alternatives, communicate issues to planning center and local managementMinimize inventory obsolescenceParticipate in the discussions and execution around Life Cycle Management.Ensure smooth transition for list number conversions and source changesPrepare planning systems for new product launchAct as the primary liaison between planning center and affiliateGlobal Trade Compliance Management
Partnering with GTC, ensures Trade Compliance with all import / export documentation and regulatory requirements and ensure smooth arrangement for cross-border transactionsQualifications
Min 5- 10 years of Demand planning, Supply Chain Management, Distributor Management in MNC, preferably in healthcare (pharmaceutical / medical device) industryBachelor's degree in Product Operations Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Supply chain management disciplines preferred, or equivalent work experienceStrong teamwork skills required to work effectively in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external supply chain partnersEffective written and oral communication skills are required, especially in English, to facilitate information flow across the supply chain Strong analytical skillsVery good experience in SAP and JDAStrong ownership and accountability for results and issue resolution.
