We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. **About the Role** As a CBRE Senior Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal support and guidance for a diverse range of complex and confidential legal activities, primarily related to services in the United States and Canada. This position is integral to our Legal Services function, which is responsible for delivering comprehensive legal counsel in both routine and specialized organizational endeavors. **What You'll Do** + Review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to commercial real estate + Provide counsel and legal advice to managers, executives, and employees on legal aspects of various business lines + Collaborate with the business to prepare client, partner, and other commercial contracts, manage project-specific legal matters, and assist with business mergers and acquisitions. + Investigate claims and complaints by or against the company and report findings to business leadership + Resolve pre-litigation disputes and assist the business with alternative dispute resolution issues + Apply in-depth knowledge of standard legal principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. + Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of your job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function + Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence), and build consensus to reach agreements on legal issues **What You'll Need** + Juris Doctorate (or local equivalent) and active membership in good standing with a State Bar (or local equivalent).link + 10 years of relevant legal experience + Ability to exercise sound judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information + Ability to work across multiple countries and jurisdictions within the Americas region. + Advanced level of English. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook + Strong organizational skills combined with an advanced inquisitive mindset **Why CBRE?** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investments that helps companies and people thrive.
