Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Corporate Recruiter who is focused in Accounting & Finance to proactively engage with applicants and hiring teams throughout the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring the acquisition of top talent for the organization. This role involves driving talent acquisition strategies that align with our business needs.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to build effective recruiting strategies and manage customer/partner expectations.Provide recommendations based on market data and position requirements, serving as a trusted talent partner.Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Human Resources Information Systems, Talent Management, Compensation, and Total Rewards.Post job openings on our applicant tracking system and other media resources, including online employment job boards and social media.Screen and source both active and passive candidates through in-person, phone, and virtual interviews, including behavioral-based interviews for positions ranging from entry-level to high-level.Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up and communication throughout the candidate lifecycle from initial contact to start date.Arrange interviews between hiring managers and candidates, including coordinating travel for out-of-state candidates.Work with the compensation team to develop salary job offers and extend and negotiate offers to selected candidates.Participate in the training and mentoring of new talent acquisition team members and support the development of Talent Acquisition Specialists.Administer background checks and new hire paperwork processes, including employment verification, education verification, reference checks, and pre-employment drug tests.Represent the organization as an employer of choice at career fairs, university events, and networking functions.Perform other job-related functions as assigned.Essential SkillsRecruiting with a focus in Accounting & FinanceTalent acquisitionFull cycle recruitingStrategic sourcingStakeholder managementInternal talent acquisition experience in a generalist recruiting roleBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience recruiting in a medium to large organizationExperience using an applicant tracking system such as PeopleSoftConducting behavioral-based interviewsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook softwareKnowledge across Human Resources disciplines and applicable Federal, State, and local lawsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong workload management skillsGood judgment and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of dataAbility to work in a professional manner within a team environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in both external recruiting agency and corporate human resources department preferredExperience supporting diverse positions such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing Analytics, Casino Operations, Marine OpsWork Environment

The position requires working in the office Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, with remote work on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.86/hr.
