Description Growing Real Estate Firm seeks a Sr. Corporate Accountant who can play a key role in supporting the financial integrity and reporting of the company’s corporate and real estate operations. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for overseeing: the financial reporting process, preparing journal entries, assisting with the monthly financial close process, general accounting functions, consolidations, preparing documentation for internal and external audits, cost-reduction, assisting with performing financial statement analysis, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial real estate accounting expertise and the ability to partner cross-functionally with property management, asset management, and finance leadership. Primary Responsibilities · Manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process · Provide budgeting and forecasting · Financial Analysis · Prepare financial statements · Generate monthly close schedules · Maintain financial documents · Balance sheet account reconciliations · Process Improvement of Internal Controls · Assist with external audit activities · Oversee internal controls Requirements The ideal Senior Corporate Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
