**What You’ll Be Doing**
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Infrastructure Operations group within Technology Operations and will be at the heart of CIBC’s technology transformation. As a Sr. Consultant – Application Operations (AO), you will be working with the Digital and Cards Technology AO team and will work on technology infrastructure processes driving and supporting multiple concurrent initiatives. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be accountable to develop a business management function, for leading work to drive technology operations initiatives (both base and project) while working closely with the assigned application development portfolio. In addition, you will oversee the pipeline of work requests from the assigned application development portfolio and be the focal point for organizing and progressing Audit related work.

Focus on each client experience and make every interaction meaningful. Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with business partners, suppliers, and peers. Develop trusted advisor relationships and provide valued consulting advice to facilitate the effective management and completion of procurement initiatives. Align procurement solutions with their business objectives
+ **Risk Management** **& Industry Knowledge** - Ensure the appropriate Governance is followed and adhered to for all contracts. Keep abreast of the industry knowledge, innovations and advancements in business practices and technologies
+ **Influencing and Negotiations –** Be an influencer and negotiator with the ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders. Manage contract drafting, negotiations and finalization, approval processes. Comply with CIBC’s Procurement and Supplier Governance policies and process,
+ **Manage Multiple Priorities -** Use effective self-management practices to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
**Who You Are**
+ **You can demonstrate experience with:** 5+ years of experience in an operations technology role. Strong technical trouble-shooting ability including knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for anticipating, recognizing, and resolving technical (software, application or operational) problems and interpreting server logs. Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOPs, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift and MS Azure is important. Knowledge and experience with Monitoring tools such as SPLUNK and Dynatrace would be an asset.
