SR. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (BROWNFIELD - Instrumentation)

Airswift is seeking for SR. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (BROWNFIELD – Instrumentation ) to work in Qatar OFFSHORE with a major Oil & Gas Company. 

Qualification: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Electrical and/or Mechanical from a recognized university. Extensive commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects. Strong skills in construction management, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience in construction and installation within the Oil & Gas industry. Sound knowledge of telemetry installation and commissioning. Experience in applying construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards. Understanding of construction techniques for brownfield environments and Well Head Jackets. Familiarity with associated discipline works. Computer literate with good communication and writing skills. Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental practices. Strong ability to interpret method statements, ITPs, schedules, and drawings. Capable of identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions. Proven experience supervising multi-national, multi-cultural contractor workforces. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and report on contractor performance, manpower, equipment movement, and construction progress. Coordinate offshore Instrumentation, F&G, DCS, ESD, and Telecom construction activities in Halul and Production Stations. Lead daily/weekly meetings with contractors, supervisors, QA/QC inspectors, and HSE advisors to address progress and resolve issues. Act as Construction Risk Management representative—identify risks, evaluate impacts, propose and implement mitigation measures. Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly progress reports; verify contractor reports. Liaise with senior engineers for all construction matters from design through procurement. Participate in design reviews, method statement approvals, material requisition and inspection processes. Support SAT, FAT, IFAT, and performance testing. Review and approve construction plans, schedules, logistics, and procedures. Supervise and coordinate all construction-related aspects including material inspections and documentation processes. Ensure all works conform to approved standards and contract specs. Participate in MCC walkthroughs, red-line drawing approvals, and pre-commissioning/commissioning activities. Maintain detailed daily site records and report anomalies or deviations. Monitor and control work permits for contractor compliance. Coordinate contractor and vendor mobilization/demobilization offshore. Interface with other departments and contractors to resolve construction issues; maintain strong liaison with Production and Maintenance teams. Participate in bid reviews and provide E&I discipline input on tenders, drawings, and construction plans. Under supervision of Head, Construction—make project-related decisions within contractual and procedural frameworks in coordination with the project team. Take full responsibility for all construction-related matters outside normal working hours. Accountable for managing site activities leading to successful construction and pre-commissioning, adhering to standards.
