Senior Change Agent – Residential HVAC

Trane Technologies

Do you have a passion for developing people, coaching leaders, building strong teams, and nurturing a culture grounded in positivity, growth, and continuous improvement? Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Change Agent to support our Residential HVAC business. This role is built around empowering individuals and teams, strengthening leadership capabilities, and cultivating a forward‑moving mindset where everyone feels confident and encouraged to contribute to meaningful change.

As a Senior Change Agent, you will champion our Lean transformation as a cultural leader—someone who inspires, mentors, and equips others to embrace new ways of thinking and working. You will guide teams through change with empathy, reinforce behaviors that build trust and resilience, and help create an environment where people feel supported, valued, and motivated to do their best work.

If you have hands‑on Lean experience and a strong track record of coaching, people development, and leading teams through change, we would love to connect.

The Senior Change Agent plays a vital role in embedding Lean principles into daily behaviors, elevating leadership capability, and strengthening the organization’s ability to work collaboratively toward shared goals. This role drives improvements across safety, customer value, quality, delivery, cycle time, growth, margin expansion, and inventory—through people‑first, growth‑oriented leadership.

• Support teams after events to ensure improvements are implemented, celebrated, and sustained through strong habits and follow‑through

Execute Key Lean and Daily Management Activities

• Conduct value stream and workplace analyses while deeply involving employees in discovery, learning, and idea generation
• Create and refine standard work collaboratively, coaching leaders on how to support adoption through encouragement and constructive feedback
• Strengthen visual management and problem‑solving routines that keep teams aligned, engaged, and focused on growth
• Lead issue‑resolution activities using a people‑first approach that prioritizes learning, teamwork, and forward progress

Strengthen Lean Culture and Organizational Capability
