Results-driven procurement leadership role overseeing sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier performance in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements4+ years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
ERP/MRP proficiency; experience with NetSuite/Oracle preferred
Data analysis skills for cost, inventory, and lead-time metrics
Demonstrated results reducing cost, inventory, and lead times
Experience with supplier negotiation, contract terms, and pricing ladders
Preferred SkillsCPM, CPIM, or APICS certification
Background supporting new product introductions and early supplier involvement
Familiarity with standard cost, variance analysis, and make/buy modeling
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies to stabilize supply, resolve shortages, and improve supplier performance
Build and manage relationships with strategic vendors to secure pricing, quality, and delivery commitments
Procure materials, components, and equipment aligned to production schedules across development, prototype, and production cycles
Plan, schedule, monitor, and expedite material flow; track parts to on-time delivery
Partner with Engineering on NPI sourcing, DFM feedback, and ramp planning
Implement process improvements to reduce inventory and eliminate non-value-add work
Monitor, analyze, and report material variances to standard cost; drive corrective actions
Optimize material costs through supplier analysis, quality and schedule evaluation, and total-landed-cost reviews
Perform make/buy analyses and recommend sourcing decisions
Maintain accurate procurement data within ERP; verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies
Create and maintain Purchasing SOPs and documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with Materials, Sales/Customer Service, Accounting, Production, Planning, and Warehouse
Execute special projects for Operations as assigned
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
