This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge Street) and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:. Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements for digital currency initiatives.
. Translate regulatory, risk, and control requirements into clear, testable system specifications and acceptance criteria.
. Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies, including functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
. Validate transaction flows, data integrity, reconciliations, and exception handling across integrated systems.
. Partner with technology teams to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support remediation activities.
. Support release readiness and change management activities, including test sign-off and deployment validation.
. Perform post-implementation validation to confirm solutions operate as intended in production.
. Ensure alignment with enterprise SDLC, QA, testing, and governance standards.
. Prepare and maintain documentation and testing evidence to support audit, risk, and regulatory reviews.
Must Have skills:
. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or Business & Quality Analyst within financial services.
. Strong understanding of: Payments processing and transaction lifecycles Core banking systems and downstream integrations Data flows, reconciliations, and operational controls
. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including technology, risk, compliance, and operations.
. Ability to work within ambiguous requirements and self organize to solve problems
. Experience operating within structured SDLC and change management frameworks in regulated environments.
. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Skilled at conveying complex ideas to both business and technical teams.
*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
