Job Description

Kassow Robots develops and produces lightweight 7-DoF cobots. Whether it’s CNC, pick & place, gluing, labeling, or palletizing, all cobot models from the young Copenhagen-based company are used successfully in industry. Bosch Rexroth became our majority shareholder at the end of April 2022.

As the Sr. Business Development Manager you will be the driving force behind expanding our partner and customer network in NA, US. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage and strengthen existing partnerships, and make a significant contribution to revenue growth in the North American region. You'll work closely with the Kassow Robots Business Unit teams as well. 

Here's an overview of the role: 

Strategic Business Development: Establishing and expanding a high-performing, partner network to achieve sustainable revenue growth. Comprehensive Customer Management: Directly developing and managing end-customer projects – independently and/or in collaboration with partners – across all phases of the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners, Overseeing their activities and performance, along with training Find and onboard new channel partners, integrators Market and Competitive Analysis: Identifying new potentials and trends to proactively steer the sales strategy. Target-Oriented Pipeline Management: Responsibility for revenue targets, precise management of sales opportunities, opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting in close coordination with regional sales leadership. Team Leadership and coordination of technical support & application engineering function, to drive business growth and ensure customer success Working closely with Business Unit Global Sales Manager and head office in Europe, Copenhagen  Brand Representation: Professionally representing Bosch Rexroth – Kassow Robots at industry events, trade fairs, and workshops. Drive KPIs and action plans to achieve the regional annual targets. Continuously review and improve sales and lead processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and provide regular reports on partner activity, including sales, marketing, and product development efforts 

 

QualificationsRelevant experience working within the robotics or automation industry in a sales or business development capacity with a focus on building and maintaining partners and direct accounts relationships, minimum of 5+ years of experience, Team leadership experience / cross-functional lead experience  Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project businesses involving highly technical products – robotics industry experience is a plus Strong business acumen and understanding of partner/channel dynamics across various partner types (Distribution, OEM, Ecosystem, System Integrators, End-Users) Demonstrable success in new customer acquisition and customer development. Strong entrepreneurial thinking, excellent understanding of figures, and data-driven decision-making skills. Independent, structured working style with a high degree of initiative and a strong customer orientation. Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, and a professional demeanor at at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support. Convincing communication and negotiation skills in English (other languages is a plus). Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a business or technical subject area (business, engineering, science)  Travel Requirement: up to 60% travel within the region.
