We are seeking a senior and experienced Business Development Manager to join Amazon.com.tr Payments team in TR. This is a crucial role which will be at forefront of both Internal leaderships /stakeholders and external ecosystems (banks, regulators, payment providers etc) to shape the growth and development of payments for Amazon shopping in Türkiye. The role will drive the key goals, external partnerships and internal stakeholder management.
This in an in-office role based in Istanbul, Turkey.
Key job responsibilities
- Operate Payments goals and P&L in collaboration with Payments Country Lead. These goals and initiatives are to improve payment experience, affordability, access, engagement and reduce costs.
- Contribute to Payment’s product strategy and the prioritization for the country, across different payment products & programs.
- Lead specific payment programs end to end, including its strategy, P&L and initiatives.
- Secure, sign-up, and manage working relationships with Payment partners. Negotiate and finalize business contracts with partners, ensuring favorable terms for Amazon.com.tr
- Partnering with internal business teams across Amazon to identify and influence development of new payment products and services.
- Collaborate with internal Payments Team (Product, Finance, Legal, and Ops) and broader Amazon.com.tr team (leadership, marketing, finance) to achieve the goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the fintech and payments space.
- Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas.
- Sharing best practices with other Amazon teams.
- Keeping leadership updated.

This role will be responsible for Payment Experience (acquiring / processing deals), Cost of Payments, Local Payment Methods, Instant Bank Discount & Accelerated Rewards, Shop with Points.
This in an in-office role based in Istanbul, Turkey.
