Sr. Business Analyst / Data Analyst
Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office (downtown) at a minimum 3-4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Interact with the Business team and analyze regulatory documents to decipher requirements.
• Ensure business specifications/requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing/development efforts and as input to various project documentation.
• Develop and deliver Business Requirements Documents, Mapping Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models as required.
• Participate in the development of detailed project plans, the monitoring of progress against planned objectives, and co-operation from users and senior management.
• Work closely across Risk technology teams during all stages of the system development life cycle and bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.
• Liaising between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
• Build relationships and communicate effectively with Global team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have skills"
• 5+ years in the Banking domain.
• Ability to translate BRD into technical specifications (Mappings between source to target systems).
• SQL knowledge
• Good Communication
• Team player

Nice To Have
• Functional knowledge of Banking- Small business, Risk (nice to have)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python (nice to have)
