IN Pharmacy Team is seeking a creative and goal-oriented BI Engineer to join our Team to support our data driven decision making. Pharmacy is a growing business in IN and plans to scale up with multiple new feature launches in the next two years.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. It requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, as well as outstanding business acumen and the ability to work with product and category teams. This Sr. Business Analyst will support category teams by owning complex reporting and automating reporting solutions, and ultimately provide insights and drivers for decision making.
Being a new business, the data reporting space is a white canvas on Amazon Pharmacy. We work with 3P partners across several segments from teleconsulting to prescription management to fulfillment to working with future forward health service providers. Hence, the ability for each partner to see and appreciate data seamless and our ability to triangulate multiple sources of information to drive insight for helping drive sharper forecasting of products/selection at the nodes and simpler CX by driving a common view of information will be critical to streamline the business as we scale. The role will also help program manage critical external partners who will help us deliver seamless and friction free experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. You must be a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied pricing programs and processes.
This role involves:
1. Working closely with the business, product/program teams and external stakeholders to understand the business drivers, data availability and product challenges. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling and problem solving.
2. Assist in the development of key product metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance of the business as well as product contributions to the business.
3. Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis.
4. Understand and write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data (ongoing reporting and adhoc requests).
5. Manage the data infra-structure for the pharmacy team, deciding which data sources to leverage in the process, including influencing teams to assure data is consistent and accurate.
6. Program Manage the entire prescription management process.
7. Driving innovation on using prescription data to help downstream services becoming more intelligent and functional.
