Sr. Automation Specialist

Basic Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience working with automation in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimizationStrong FANUC Teach/Touch Pendant programming experience.Strong experience with electrical systems.Experience with 3D Modeling and Printing.Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design).Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.Ability to maintain technical documentation.Ability to train and lead junior and entry-level engineersCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, and developers, to ensure successful project execution

Benefits/Salary:

Responsibilities:

Develop Business Cases: Craft business cases to justify automation projects.Project Proposals: Present and advocate for future automation initiatives.Timeline Management: Develop and adhere to detailed implementation timelines.Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of automation projects from start to finish.Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers to ensure seamless transitions during the automation process.Safety Analysis: Conduct safety analyses and implement necessary safety measures for automation projects.Problem Solving: Apply strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.Technical Expertise: Utilize CAD and 3D printing technologies effectively.Training: Lead and organize training sessions to educate team members on robot programming.Process Improvement: Identify and eliminate manual processes to enhance efficiency.Maintenance: Maintain and optimize existing automation systems.Manufacturing Insight: Understand manufacturing processes to develop effective automation solutions.Documentation: Maintain technical documents such as manuals and SOPs.Translate business requirements into technical specifications for automation solutions.Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues in automation systems and applications.Provide technical support for automation systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues.Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including design specifications, user manuals, and procedures.Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks and tools.Lead automation initiatives across functional teams and development teams to streamline testing and deployment pipelines.Identify and implement best practices in automation, including standards, metrics, and documentation.Evaluate and implement new tools or technologies that improve automation efficiency or coverage.Monitor automation execution and maintain test reliability, accuracy, and coverage.
