As an Equipment Specialist (ES) supporting sales and customer relationships related to Phaco Equipment sales in Ontario, you will be trusted to work jointly with Surgical Account Managers and other members of the Surgical team to implement clinical initiatives specific to Phaco-related Ophthalmic Instrumentation. You will have a direct role in the business relation with accounts and surgeons, with an emphasis placed on Clinical/Technical instrumentation training to Physicians, nurses and technicians. Additionally, you will have sales responsibility with respect to Territory/regional/national equipment sales targets. This will be a part-time role for a fixed duration until roughly December 31, 2025.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Quickly demonstrate clinical competence and reliability to customer ( Physicians, Nurses, Technicians ) during each assignment and irrespective of existing or non-existing relation, fostering perception of Alcon’s excellence in the surgical fieldSupport perception of Alcon’s Equipment and Disposables as top of the line, also due to the outstanding training and service support that comes with them.Support Account Manager's Business plan execution through internal reliability and flexibility, understanding local specific situations and adapting to customers’ requests.Complete of all administrative tasks in a timely manner including (but not limited to), CRM system completion.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Minimum Education: University DegreePreferred Requirements:
Sense of business acumen with proven analytical ability, organizational and time management skills.Advanced English written and verbal communication skills.Strong knowledge of Phacoemulsification surgical procedures/devices strongly preferredIndependent, creative and innovative thinker who thrives on selling in a consultative team selling environment.Able to quickly build confidence in customers despite not having long-term relationAdvanced presentation skills.Task oriented with a strong focus on details and resultsCustomer satisfaction orientedInternal team player with broad Alcon teamTravel requirement: 50% or more - this role will be pre-dominantly in the field within OntarioIndividual must reside in Ontario, ideally in or closely surrounding TorontoHOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
