Responsible for developing and programming methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse data sources to generate insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Data Science harness techniques from traditional AI domains, such as machine learning for Time Series and Computer Vision, as well as generative AI, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) for natural language processing. They leverage these technologies to uncover deep insights, innovate solutions, and drive forward the boundaries of what AI can achieve in various industry applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Sr. Associate I, Data Science (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for supporting and driving data science projects by applying advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to deliver actionable business insights and solutions. Specifics include:
• Develop, test, and select machine learning models to support data science projects, making decisions regarding model selection and data processing methods
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform decision-making
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
• Document and communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Explore and recommend innovative artificial intelligence solutions to enhance team capabilities and improve data science processes and tools
• Balance project requirements with technical constraints using sound judgment.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong analytical skills and technical problem solving
· Solid experience in building code and models
· Solid experience with building mathematical Optimization models with cvxpy etc.
· Good Experience with NLP and Computer Vision Algorithms
· Should have MLOps experience
· Project Management experience
· Experience with tools such as: Python, SQL, AWS, Tableau, Sagemaker, CVXPY etc.
· Selecting and employing advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights.
· Cross-validating models to ensure their generalizability.
· Delegating tasks to Junior Data Analysts or Data Scientists in order to realize the successful completion of projects.
· Producing and disseminating non-technical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each project – Analytics Translation.
· Suggesting ways in which insights obtained might be used to inform business strategies.
· Staying informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant.
