Position Summary:
This position performs engineering work related to researching, designing, and developing products, components, or portion of major projects. This position is crucial in interpreting and calculating equations efficiently and effectively.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage product design and development for new or existing productsSpecify, size, and select subsystem components for power systems designs according to Engineering GuidelinesSelects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing productsTest and validate top level power systems as well as sub-level power system componentsReview and verify product performance via testingAssess reliability performance of product versus requirementAnalyzes proposals submitted to determine if benefit derived and possible applications justify expendituresCompletes work according to standard engineering principles and practicesResponsible to follow the company ERP procedures and maintenance as documentedResponsible to follow the company quality management procedures as documentedPromote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.Perform special projects as requiredBasic Requirements:

We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this timeBachelor’s Degree in the Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5 years’ experience in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or 9 years Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with any of the following systems: automotive, power generation, energy storageExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational, planning and follow-up skillsStrong project management experienceStrong interpersonal skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsProficient with PC and MS Office SuiteRolls-Royce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
