Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases, and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced technology specialist who can do Run support day-to-day activities in support operations across multiple processes focused on Salesforce capability. In this role, you need to manage run & operations capabilities for IT landscape supporting Japan business unit while also focusing on continuous improvement, improving business outcome, and delivering world-class solutions.
The primary focus for this role is to maintain IT applications focused on commercial enablement in Japan geography. You will play a hands-on role, focused on solution analysis, problem solving, incident management, continuous improvement, quality control, configuration, and work on cross-functional teams for business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have multi-year experience working in maintenance projects focused on Salesforce capability. This role requires strong technical knowledge, stakeholder management, and domain expertise in commercial enablement to ensure seamless integration across a diverse application landscape.
Responsibilities
Team Collaboration:
•
Foster collaboration among IT, business units, and external partners to ensure smooth integration and user adoption
•
Provide mentorship and training to team members on domain knowledge, configuration standards, and advanced technology solutions
•
Monitor service management progress, and ensure alignment with quality standards
Functional Expertise:
•
Moderate to Strong understanding of commercial enablement business process and platforms and applications
•
Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations
•
Knowledge of industry best practices in medical devices manufacturing, sales, and distribution
•
Excellent technology knowledge in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud applications
•
Experience with various testing methodologies including functional, non-functional, and performance testing
•
Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise, infrastructure, architecture, and cross-functional leaders to achieve results
•
Develop and maintain configuration standards and help in establishing and/or improving KPIs to measure the run & operations effectiveness
•
Continuously evaluate testing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices
•
Documents and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience
•
Minimum 5 years in IT and 3 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud as a software developer to Support both Development and Run Support.
•
Experience with Sales and Service Cloud modules.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience with CRM Analytics (CRMA) and Tableau a plus
• Salesforce.com Admin/Developer Certifications
• Strong programming skills and expertise in Java/.Net development.
• Experience with Salesforce Development/Admin skills preferred
• Experience with Jenkins or any other CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus
• Experience with CRM Analytics (CRMA) and Tableau a plus
•
Extensive experience in translating business requirements into technical design
•
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
•
Expertise in change management and user adoption strategies
•
Timing – 6:00am to 3:00pm IST (9:30am to 7:00pm JST). This schedule may vary depending on the business requirements
