Position Purpose

The Sr. Analyst of Internal/External Discovery & International is responsible for performing research and exploring Payments industry developments to identify new payment functions/ innovations, technological enhancements, and process improvements that drive sales and improve the customer experience at the lowest cost.

Core responsibilities also include supporting THD’s Canada and Mexico teams on payments-related initiatives as well as the Manager of Next Gen Payments.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Advocacy

Performing market research to assist with long-range planning activitiesAttending trade shows and participating in advocacy group activities (e.g. MAG)Works with industry groups to stay abreast of semi-annual card brand releases and impacts to THD

Managerial Support

Supports the Manager of Next Gen Payments in bringing new payments solutions to market (may own and drive certain initiatives end to end)Partnering with IT and Product teams on tracking initiatives on a monthly/quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed).

International Support

Partners with Canada and Mexico teams to connect with appropriate US resources on key initiativesSupports with analysis and reporting as needed
