**Sr Advanced Application Engineer**
**Location:- Asker Norway**
As a **Sr Advanced Application Engineer** within Honeywell **Asker Norway,** you will be required to work in a project environment - designing, documenting and delivering Honeywell solutions in place at various end-client locations in the Europe and North Africa (ENA) regions of the Honeywell business to clients against customer specifications and prepared proposals. These solutions involve multiple different industrial software applications such as Process Safety Analyzer, Alarm Management suite, PHD and more.
This is Hybrid Work 3 days from Office and 2 days from Home. Position may require international travel around the ENA region and to the Global Engineering groups

**Key Responsibilities**
+ The applicant is responsible for design, development and testing of the implementation effort for the complete Oil & Gas MES project along with its associated applications. Involvement in supply chain applications (Integration work such as ERP and more). Participation in Compliance Studies (CS) with Business consultants & support driving Honeywell standard MES Solutions.
+ Proactively help developing project resource plan and project schedule in coordination with the Engineering Manager & Project Manager. Serve as single point contact for technical execution to the Project Manager. Manage the technical configuration of the solution.
+ Producing and/or verifying and/or approving project/program documentation Acceptance Test Procedures, as built and project/program close out presentations. Adhere to project standards and customer expectations. Coordinate with the Local & Global team to ensure on-time delivery & quality deliverables. Monitoring progress on a day-to-day basis for all team activities (ensure regular team meetings).
+ Support and manage software delivery, integration testing and project startup activities. Proactively collaborate with the Development/Product team to ensure development schedules are properly aligned to the project requirements.
+ Customer management involves requirements gathering, design review, test plans, data conversion, server configuration and product training. Handle customer team agenda/availabilities for common activities (training/CS/FAT/etc.). Monitoring progress on an agreed upon basis for all project activities
**Desired/Preferred Skills**
+ Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering or IT.
+ Relevant software/IT background including good understanding of SQL server databases.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas / Upstream processes. Strong Customer-facing experience with good knowledge of scope and change management as an Application Engineer.
+ Experience in Software Implementation and Software Maintenance is an advantage
+ Experience in control systems engineering is an advantage. Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
+ Very good understanding of customer business & operations process in Oil & Gas domain.
+ Site experience such as installation and/or commissioning is preferred. Capable of providing pre-sale support in providing technical proposals, site surveys, presentations.
+ Very good written and oral communication skills ( **English and Norwegian** ).
