Sr. Accounting Analyst

**Job Description:**
Range: $60,000-75,000
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
+ Manage the NSO fixed assets list and assist with capital projects.
+ Perform the reconciliation of all balance sheets accounts and ensure that all accounting transactions and journal entries are in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
+ Ensure compliance with the company’s accounting policies/procedures (including SOX).
+ Monitor actual expenses and assist management in developing, recommending, and implementing corrective action to ensure results of the operations are in line with the operating budget.
+ Create the budget and forecast for the NSO balance sheet and assigned departments.
+ Perform analysis and prepare reports that provide detailed cost information to local and corporate management.
+ Manage the month-end processing and reporting related to assigned departments.
+ Work with Operations team to create and maintain activity base costing system for assigned departments.
+ Document system processes, reports, and system functionality.
+ Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accounting/Business required.
+ 3-5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting required.
+ Knowledge of GAAP and General Accounting activities required.
+ Excellent analytical skills required.
+ Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is a plus.
+ Analytical/organizational skills with sound problem resolution, negotiation, judgment, and decision-making skills required.
+ Experience with Oracle Fusion/SmartView is a plus.
+ Strong technical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and database management software required.
+ Ability to excel in business situations by adapting plans and approaches as required.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels required.
