Description Senior Staff Accountant Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Staff Accountant to strengthen their accounting function. This is a critical role for a seasoned professional who can operate independently, provide technical guidance, and ensure accuracy and compliance across key accounting areas. Key Responsibilities + Own complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close activities + Lead sales and use tax compliance, filings, and audits + Prepare and support regulatory and statutory reporting + Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship + Partner with operations and leadership to explain financial and technical accounting data to non‑accounting stakeholders + Support process improvements, documentation, and internal controls Skills & Competencies + Exceptional attention to detail + Strong organizational and time‑management skills + Ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non‑accountants + Dependable, professional, and able to work with limited oversight This role is ideal for a high caliber accountant looking to step into a role with visibility, ownership, and the ability to make an immediate impact.
