Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization through detailed financial analysis, month-end close activities, and strategic collaboration with various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including property returns and asset tracking.
• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee payroll review for 1,100 employees across multiple states, ensuring proper accounting and compliance.
• Collaborate with the FP& A team to analyze budgets versus actuals and provide variance analysis.
• Review corporate expenses and accruals, including marketing costs and operational expenses.
• Partner with marketing teams to evaluate revenue streams, analyze associated expenses, and track prepaids.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in PO-invoicing processes and other financial systems.
• Audit and analyze financial data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide backup support for payroll entry processes as needed.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and Mode Analytics.
• Strong ability to perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll processing and review for multi-state operations.
• Excellent analytical skills, including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
