Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Lewis Center, Ohio. This role requires expertise in financial management, reporting, and process improvement to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and cash flow processes while contributing to the optimization of workflows. Responsibilities: • Manage invoicing and oversee collections for all accounts receivable to ensure timely payments. • Collaborate with account and operations teams to resolve inquiries related to order completion and invoicing. • Work with IT and development teams to improve and streamline deposit processes for enhanced efficiency. • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and workflow enhancements within accounting operations. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Prepare and post journal entries promptly and with precision. • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. • Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and compiling supporting materials. • Handle daily cash flow management and coordinate banking activities effectively. • Review and process transfers and deposits while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Expertise in managing general ledger accounts and posting journal entries. • Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and perform bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with cash flow management and treasury operations. • Proven track record of identifying process improvements and implementing automation. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.
