Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will focus on maintaining accurate financial records and providing critical insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting functions and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: • Perform monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and reviewing financial reports. • Analyze accounting data to deliver actionable insights to management at both theater and corporate levels. • Provide support to theater and corporate personnel regarding inquiries on cost center expenses. • Collaborate with colleagues in the Finance team to share information on new activities, trends, and unusual fluctuations in ledger entries. • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining accounting processes. • Demonstrate adaptability in learning and utilizing new systems and tools to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience handling month-end close processes and general ledger activities. • Expertise in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts, including balance sheets and bank statements. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple teams across organizational levels. • Proficiency in utilizing accounting software and tools to streamline workflows. • Commitment to process improvement and delivering accurate financial results.
