Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami Beach, Florida. This role requires a candidate with extensive expertise in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate and foreign tax matters, combined with proficiency in tax software. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review tax returns for both individual and corporate clients with precision and adherence to regulations. • Analyze and manage consolidated tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all filings. • Utilize Lacerte Tax Software effectively to streamline tax preparation processes. • Address foreign tax issues, providing expert guidance and solutions to clients. • Collaborate with team members and clients to gather necessary financial information for tax filings. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and informed services. • Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients through strategic planning. • Ensure timely completion and submission of all tax-related documents. • Work on-site four days a week to foster collaboration and ensure high-quality service delivery. *Client is interested in someone who would eventually like to become a Partner in the firm but must come with a book of business.
