Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a growing industry leader as they look to add a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, provide guidance to the accounting team & support the Controller. As the successful candidate, you will: Key Responsibilities: + Supervise and review daily work of the accounting team, including AP, AR, invoicing, and collections. + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts (cash, AR, AP, accruals, prepaids). + Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and supporting schedules. + Assist with month-end close and financial reporting. + Support audit activities and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies. + Identify and implement process improvements. + Provide training and mentorship to team members. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. + CPA or public accounting experience a plus. + 3+ years progressive accounting experience, including month end close & accrual accounting. + Advanced Excel skills and experience utilizing technology. + A team-oriented individual with strong ability to communicate with all levels of the org.
