Sr. Accountant

Summary: Seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close processes, enhance financial operations through technology, and support departmental transitions.

Requirements:

College diploma (Accounting/Finance degree preferred but not required) Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel (pivots and lookups) Strong technical accounting skills and GAAP knowledge

Preferred Skills:

Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and employee information In office work required for initial two months followed by hybrid work arrangement

Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle month-end close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts; assist with year-end audit Monitor cash balances and perform cash flow forecasting Streamline finance and accounting operations through technology; train staff on software utilization Resolve issues with AP, purchasing, AR, and sales departments Document workflows from retiring employees for continuity during transitions Collaborate on improving software projects related to payroll, sales tax, expense management, lease accounting, and business unit reporting

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
