Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a background in audit and a strong understanding of the healthcare sector. In this vital role, you’ll play a key part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational goals. Your past audit experience and technical accounting expertise will be critical in maintaining integrity and accuracy across financial reporting and operations. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. + Oversee the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes. + Conduct and support internal and external audits, leveraging prior audit experience to maintain internal control standards. + Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making. + Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all financial operations. + Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to provide insightful financial advice and support. + Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process to align financial strategies with organizational goals. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred). + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on audit or compliance. + Experience in the healthcare industry is required, with knowledge of healthcare-specific financial regulations. + Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. + Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy. + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
