Sr. Accountant
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Galrand, Texas. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and enhance the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed monthly financial reports to support executive decision-making and ensure timely and accurate reporting. • Lead the development of financial forecasts and annual budgets in alignment with organizational goals. • Manage and optimize accounting systems to ensure scalability and operational efficiency. • Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance workflows. • Collaborate with the Operations Territory Manager to ensure accurate job costing and review work-in-progress reports. • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reporting. • Conduct inventory monitoring and reconciliations to maintain general ledger accuracy. • Manage the general ledger by maintaining the chart of accounts and supervising the month-end close process. • Develop and refine accounting procedures and controls to align with parent company standards and acquired business practices. • Assist in implementing controls for accurate tracking of project costs, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and overhead. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles. • Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards, financial reporting, and budget forecasting. • Proficiency with accounting software and systems, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. • Proven ability to lead process improvements and manage diverse accounting functions. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work on-site in Galrand, Texas. • Preferred qualifications include certifications in accounting and experience with job costing or cross-border accounting practices.
