Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial reporting and analysis to support our wholesale distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O). Responsibilities: • Prepare and deliver accurate internal financial statements and management reports. • Develop detailed reporting packages, including metrics such as gross margin, inventory aging, and channel performance. • Evaluate sales, cost of goods sold, operational expenses, and rebates to identify trends and variances. • Reconcile essential balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Conduct profitability analysis at both product and vendor levels and manage special pricing agreement reconciliations. • Collaborate with teams across Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to maintain financial transaction integrity. • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, emphasizing expense planning and margin analysis. • Support audit preparations, document internal controls, and contribute to the enhancement of accounting procedures. • Drive automation efforts for reporting and workflows using D365 F& O and Excel. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • At least 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in distribution, electronics, or technology industries. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and journal entries. • Demonstrated expertise in account and bank reconciliations. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O) and advanced Excel capabilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments. • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in financial reporting.
