Robert Half’s client, an industry-leading manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Sr. Accountant with a background in manufacturing accounting and a desire to grow into a supervisory role. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze manufacturing variances and provide insights to management. + Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP. + Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. + Coordinate and participate in the annual physical inventory process. + Work closely with operations and finance teams to improve processes and controls. + Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required. + Strong desire and aptitude to grow into a supervisory or leadership role. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions. + Experience with ERP systems (manufacturing-focused systems preferred). + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
