Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The Senior Accountant will lead components of the monthly close process, prepare key reconciliations and journal entries, support financial reporting, and assist in improving processes and internal controls. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities: + Own critical aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting + Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP + Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany, accruals, and others + Support preparation of internal and external financial statements, audit schedules, and management reports + Partner with departments across the organization to improve accounting accuracy and operational effectiveness + Analyze variances and trends to provide insights into operational and financial performance + Assist with the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools + Support ad hoc projects, including system integrations, acquisitions, and policy reviews Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; mix of public accounting and corporate accounting preferred + Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v/h lookups, pivot tables, formulas); Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
