Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in McKinney, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and dedicated to delivering high-quality financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including preparing and reviewing journal entries. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Assist with internal audits and provide support for external audit processes. • Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support business decisions. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and improve processes. • Utilize Dynamics to streamline accounting operations, if applicable. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, public accounting, or a combination of public and industry roles. • Proficiency in Dynamics is highly desirable but not mandatory. • Strong understanding of month-end close, general ledger, and journal entry processes. • Proven ability to perform account and bank reconciliations accurately. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication and organizational abilities. • CPA or progress towards CPA certification is a significant advantage.
