Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will oversee key financial functions, including general ledger reconciliation, job costing, and financial reporting, while ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable and payable processes. You will also collaborate closely with leadership to support budgeting and financial planning efforts. Responsibilities: • Manage monthly and quarterly closings for multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions. • Prepare and submit monthly construction draws to financial institutions, maintaining clear and organized documentation. • Monitor and analyze actual construction job costs against budgeted amounts, providing detailed insights. • Create and distribute quarter-end financial reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners. • Assist in the annual budgeting process by entering and validating budget figures in accounting systems. • Oversee intercompany entries and loans, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions. • Collaborate with the Director of Accounting/FP& A to produce recurring financial reports and analyses. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate accounting or related financial analysis. • Proficiency with Yardi Voyager 7s Property Management software and general accounting tools. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis. • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and meet production deadlines. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with teams and presenting financial data. • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions. • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
