Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who thrives in a dynamic and growing environment, contributing to financial reporting, account management, and process improvement. The position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in overseeing financial operations and supporting audits while working collaboratively with internal teams. Responsibilities: • Assist in month-end close procedures, including preparing financial reports and ensuring accuracy. • Perform bank reconciliations and manage tenant account records. • Handle utility bill allocations and ensure compliance with state regulations. • Facilitate procurement tasks by coordinating payments for maintenance materials. • Review monthly financial statements, including property-specific profit and loss reports. • Collaborate in audit processes and provide necessary documentation. • Contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes. • Analyze and review balance sheets shared across multiple entities, ensuring proper financial management. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. • Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Strong skills in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. • Experience with bank reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing financial statements and profit and loss reports. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organization with evolving processes. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of audit procedures and compliance standards is preferred.
