Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in northern Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting month-end close processes. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to support financial reporting requirements. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Manage the general ledger, including posting journal entries and maintaining accurate records. • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and standards. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to streamline financial operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and compliance activities. • Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency. • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures while maintaining regulatory compliance. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting practices and systems. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation. • Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
