They are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant with a strong background in public accounting, deep expertise in technical accounting under U.S. GAAP, and manufacturing industry experience. This position is essential in managing the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting standards, and providing technical insight into complex accounting issues. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and holds a commitment to excellence in financial reporting. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring strict adherence to corporate policies and regulatory standards. Technical Accounting: Research, evaluate, and interpret complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, leases, consolidations, and inventory valuation. Assist with drafting and implementing accounting memos or policy documents where necessary. Month-End Close: Lead and coordinate month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis. Internal and External Audits: Act as the main contact for both internal and external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and facilitating resolution of audit findings. ERP Utilization: Leverage ERP software to track, manage, and analyze financial data effectively. Assist in ERP system improvements and implementations. Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate accounting policies, and governmental regulations, including SOX compliance where applicable. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including FP& A, operations, and supply chain, to support business decisions. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation strongly preferred. Minimum 2-5+ years of accounting experience, including time in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firm experience preferred). Strong understanding of manufacturing industry accounting either from public accounting or industry In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP with hands-on experience researching and resolving technical accounting issues. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally and lead by example.
