Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging financial projects, leveraging your accounting expertise to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. • Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger. • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reporting documents. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting workflows and systems. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain financial models and reports. • Work with ERP systems such as Epicor Prophet 21, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage financial data. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience. • Strong proficiency in Epicor Prophet 21. • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. • Preferred but not required: CPA or similar credentials.
