Description This search is being conducted by Steve Spinello. A service based organization in the North Georgia market is seeking a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will assist the CFO in managing the month-end close process, account reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with the financial statement preparation. Additionally, half of your time will be spent managing KPI's and ad hoc analysis. This is an impact role for someone looking to join a growing organization. They have future merger and acquisition activity in their near future, as well as capital investments in new locations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or similar roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment. • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite or Power BI is a plus.
