Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing essential financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions. Responsibilities: • Manage all month-end closing activities and prepare detailed financial reporting schedules. • Oversee inventory accounting processes, including fuel inventory management and reconciliations. • Record and maintain accurate documentation of acquisitions, transfers, and depreciation of assets. • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. • Analyze asset utilization and provide strategic recommendations for improved asset management. • Develop and refine accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency. • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with established accounting standards. • Maintain and monitor internal controls for routine closing processes and general accounting activities. • Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, including internal and global consolidation statements. • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
