Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. This role requires someone who excels in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and delivering insightful reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our accounting operations while collaborating closely with the Controller. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Perform detailed reconciliations for accounts, balance sheets, and bank transactions. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports. • Coordinate month-end close activities to ensure all financial records are up-to-date. • Collaborate with the Controller to deliver financial insights and support decision-making. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Work with ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP to manage financial data efficiently. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations. • Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries. • Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP. • Ability to manage month-end close processes efficiently. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
