Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting audit processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable standards. • Collaborate with finance teams to collect and consolidate financial data for consistent reporting. • Develop and distribute monthly financial reporting packages for both local management and the parent company. • Facilitate internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and detailed explanations. • Perform month-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and drive efficiency improvements. • Analyze and report on key financial metrics to support strategic decision-making. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain adherence to established financial policies. • Generate ad hoc financial reports and contribute to special projects as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in SAP and general accounting practices. • Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office Suite tools. • Strong financial analysis capabilities and attention to detail. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
