Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, analyzing financial data, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Identify opportunities to streamline costs and enhance revenue generation strategies. • Prepare comprehensive documentation to support external audit processes. • Review financial statements for discrepancies, addressing and escalating issues as needed. • Organize and oversee semi-annual audits, providing assistance to ensure smooth execution. • Perform monthly account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. • Assign and oversee financial tasks within the accounting team to ensure timely completion. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Strong understanding of the accounting close process and financial reporting. • Proficiency in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data. • Experience managing audits and preparing necessary documentation. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage team workflows. • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
